Smoke & Honey
14Mezcal, burnt honey, lime, a whisper of chili oil.
A rooftop bar nine floors above the old town. Low light, sharp drinks, and a view that does most of the talking. Walk-ins at the bar; tables by reservation.
Eleven on the menu, half of them ours. The list turns over with the season — these four have earned a permanent seat.

Mezcal, burnt honey, lime, a whisper of chili oil.

Local gin, wild fennel, dry vermouth, sea salt.

Aged rum, orange bitters, demerara, a single ice.

Vodka, garden herbs, cucumber, a dry tonic.
A rotating guest with a record bag and a slow tempo. Half-price amaro until ten.
Live trio at the corner of the bar, last pour pushed to half one. The busy one — reserve.
Doors at six for the gold hour over the rooftops. Oysters and one perfect martini.

“We got the last table on the rail at sunset. Two Smoke & Honeys later we’d cancelled our dinner reservation to stay.”
“Best martini in the city, made by a bartender who clearly cares more than I do about most things.”
“Friday late sets, the trio in the corner, the city all lit up below. This is the bar I’ll be telling people about for years.”
The lift is at the back of the lobby — press 9. Smart-casual, no big groups after eleven, and yes, the rooftop is covered when it rains.

Rail seats go fast on the sunset nights. Reserve ahead, or take your chances at the bar — there’s usually a stool with your name on it.
