From buyers

Real people, recent closes.

I saw it on Plotline 4 hours before it hit Redfin. Made the offer that morning, accepted by noon.

The commute overlay killed half my old shortlist instantly. Saved me three weekends of pointless open houses.

Found a place in Travis Heights that never made it to MLS. My agent had no idea Plotline had pulled it in.

FAQ

Things buyers ask in their first session.

Reach support at [email protected] · median reply 14 minutes.

How is this free for buyers — what's the business model? +

Agents bid $0.0064 per inquiry to surface in front of buyers searching in their zip. We never charge buyers, never take a closing-side referral fee, and never sell your saved-search data to third parties. Last year ~$8.2M came from agent ad spend; $0 from buyers.

How fresh is the listings data? +

We pull from every connected MLS every 12 minutes. Status changes (price drops, status to "in contract", new openhouses) usually appear on Plotline 4–6 hours before Redfin and 8–12 hours before Zillow because of how their re-syndication batching works.

Do you cover my market? +

Currently NYC (5 boros), San Francisco Bay (incl. SF, Oakland, Berkeley), Austin (Travis + parts of Williamson), Seattle (King County), and Boston (Suffolk + parts of Middlesex). Chicago, LA, and Denver land Q3 2026.

How are off-market listings sourced? +

Agents in our network post upcoming pocket listings to a private feed. We rebroadcast with permission — 2,408 off-market homes appeared in 2025 across the 5 metros. ~31% sold without ever hitting MLS. Listings are clearly tagged so you know what you're seeing.

Can I save a search and get alerts when matching listings appear? +

Yes — unlimited saved searches with SMS, email, or push alerts. You can pick "fire on new listing", "fire on price drop ≥ 3%", or "fire on status change". Most power users have 4–6 saved searches active across a multi-month buying window.
