Traveler stories

The convoy becomes a family
somewhere around day three.

"I'd never driven anything bigger than a hatchback. By Uyuni I was crossing a salt flat at dawn with the radio crackling and my partner asleep beside me. Unforgettable, and somehow never scary — the guide was always right there."

Jonas Vetter
Atacama–Uyuni, 2025

"We got the rig stuck in soft sand on day two. Within ten minutes the whole convoy had stopped, boards were down, and we were laughing about it over coffee. That's the trip in a nutshell."

Aisha Mwangi
Skeleton Coast, 2024

"The night sky in the Namib broke my brain a little. No phone signal for six days and I came back more rested than any beach holiday has ever made me."

Liam Foster
Namib Sand Sea, 2025
