Shot on 35mm & 120 — Ciudad de México

Grain is the
truth we keep.

Mateo Reyes — analog fashion photographer. No presets, no rescue in post. What the negative holds is what you get, warm and a little imperfect.

02 / Statement

I shoot film because it can't lie about time.

Every roll comes back with one frame I didn't plan and couldn't repeat — that's the one I print. Mexico City light does half the work; the rest is patience and a light meter older than I am.

“Mateo handed back the campaign and it already looked like a memory. Nobody warms a frame like he does.

Hana Suzuki — Editor-in-Chief, Vellum

Let's burn
some film.

Send me the collection and a mood. I'll bring the cameras, the meter, and far too much Portra.
