No. Bouldering is climbing close to the ground over thick pads — no ropes, no partner, no certification. Walk in and staff will cover falling and the basics. The free Intro to Climbing session is there if you want more structure.
Just climbing shoes and chalk — both rent for $8 together, or free on your first-visit deal. Most climbers buy their own shoes within a month or two; we sell them, and members get 20% off.
