Marketplace payments infra with KYC, multi-currency, 1099 generation, and split-routing in one API. The piece between Stripe and your sellers' bank accounts you'd otherwise have to build.
A KYC funnel that does Tier 1 verification synchronously, escalates to Enhanced Due Diligence only when risk flags hit, and produces the 1099-K at year-end without you assembling it.
N-way splits to anyone in your network, defined per charge or per merchant. Tax escrow, platform fee, third-party affiliate share — all atomic, all reconciled.
Tier 1 verification (name, DOB, last 4 SSN) synchronous in 280ms. Tier 2 with bank link, Tier 3 with full EDD on flagged accounts. We talk to LexisNexis, OFAC, and the FinCEN 314(a).
We collect W-9s + W-8BENs at onboarding, hold tax escrow per state thresholds, and file 1099-K with the IRS and state agencies on January 31. Sellers get their forms in the same dashboard.
Conduit fees are on top of card processing (Stripe / Adyen). We're transparent about the all-in number.
"We built Trove on Stripe Connect first. By month four we'd written 14,408 lines of glue code for KYC, 1099-K, multi-currency, and dispute splits. We tore it all out for Conduit in a weekend and our payout setup completion went from 71% to 92%."
Conduit is a money transmitter in 49 states and DC (TX pending), a registered MSB with FinCEN (#31000408214087), and a PCI-DSS Level 1 service provider. Funds for sellers are held in segregated trust accounts at Lattice Bank, not on our balance sheet.
