THE POINT OF VIEW

WE DON'T DO
SEASONS.
WE DO FRIDAYS.

Bolt started in 2021 as a folding table outside a record store in Queens. One design, forty tees, screen-printed in a friend's garage the night before. It sold out before noon. We've never figured out how to make that feeling last longer than a Friday, so we stopped trying.

Now we run on a fourteen-day cycle. Two weeks to design it, prototype it, print it, shoot it — then it drops, and it's done. No carryover, no "core line," no warehouse full of last year. The constraint is the point: it keeps the work sharp and it keeps us honest about what's actually good.

We're not the cheapest tee you'll buy and we're not pretending to be heirloom tailoring. We're heavyweight cotton, a strong graphic, a fair price, and a community that shows up every other Friday at 10AM. That's the whole brand. It's enough.

CRAFT — FABRIC & MAKE

HEAVY COTTON.
HONEST MAKE.

Streetwear-honest, not luxury-precious. Here's exactly what goes into a Bolt piece — the weights, the print, the cut-and-sew.

THE COTTON

8.6–14oz, combed and ringspun.

Tees are 8.6oz combed cotton — heavy enough to hang straight off the shoulder, soft enough to wear day one. Hoodies are a 14oz brushed fleece that breaks in over a month and never goes thin at the cuff.

THE PRINT

Water-based screen, hand-pulled.

Every graphic is screen-printed with water-based inks at a shop in Newark — no plastisol, no heavy hand-feel. The print sits in the fabric, not on top of it, so it cracks the right way and ages with the tee.

THE CUT & SEW

One built piece per drop.

The Overpass Jacket is fully cut-and-sew — ripstop nylon, taped seams, a storm flap and a two-way zip. It's patterned from scratch, sampled three times, and made in a run of two hundred. When it's gone, the pattern retires with it.

THE CUT-AND-SEW PIECE

THE OVERPASS
JACKET.

The piece the whole season is built around. A boxy ripstop shell with a volt-taped internal seam, a high storm collar, and pockets sized for a 7-inch sketchbook. It's the only Drop 14 piece that took three months instead of two — and the only one made in a run this small.

THE CAMPAIGN FILM

SIX MINUTES.
ONE OVERPASS. NO CUTS.

We shot the "Crosswire" film as a single unbroken take at first light — twelve people, one service road, the city waking up behind them. Watch it Friday alongside the drop.

STOCKISTS & AVAILABILITY

MOSTLY ONLINE.
SOMETIMES IN PERSON.

Drops go live on boltgoods.com first. A handful of boutiques carry leftover stock the week after — if any survives.

Find us in eight cities.

New York, Chicago, London, Berlin, Toronto, Tokyo, Melbourne and Mexico City carry post-drop stock. Stockists never get early access — same as everyone else, the list shops first.

FAQ

STRAIGHT
ANSWERS.

The five questions we get every drop week. Anything else — ask in the Discord.

When's the next drop?

Drop 14 — "Crosswire" — goes live this Friday at 10AM ET. After that we hold a strict every-other-Friday cadence. The countdown at the top of this page is the real one; the early-access window opens for the list 60 minutes earlier, at 9AM ET.

Why does everything sell out?

Because we make small runs on purpose. A drop is whatever we can design, print and ship in a two-week cycle — usually a few hundred units per piece, never more. We'd rather sell through fully than carry dead stock into the next drop. Last drop's average sell-through was eleven minutes.

Do pieces restock?

No. Once a drop sells out, it's done — no reprints, no "back in stock" emails. The graphic and, for the cut-and-sew piece, the pattern, retire with the run. Occasionally a boutique stockist gets a small post-drop allocation; that's the only second chance, and it's first-come.

How does early access work?

Join the early-access list — the email signup on this page, or the Discord. Be on it before Thursday midnight and you get an early-access link that unlocks the full drop at 9AM ET, one hour before the public. No raffle, no bots, no paid tier — being on the list is the whole mechanism.

What's the return policy on a drop?

Unworn pieces can be exchanged for a different size within 14 days of delivery, while that size is still in stock. Because runs are small we can't always swap, so check the measurements chart first. Anything that arrives faulty is on us — full refund or replacement, no questions.
